This DD42/7 registered EVD 406 was built in 1949 for Baxters of Airdrie and fitted with a body by Scottish Commercial. In 1955 it was sold to Woods of Mirfield and the body replaced by one made by Roe which it still has today.

This sanction of DD42/7 were built on the 7ft 6in wide chassis and used the HOE7/4 engine.

It has chassis number 94758.

The bus is now with Quantock Motor Services in Taunton, Somerset.
