1949 SD42/7 coach

This SD42/7, first registered in February 1951, was one of two supplied to Southport and had their fleet number 116. The 32 seat coachwork is by Crossley.

It was restored by staff and students of St Margaret’s Church of England Academy in Aigburth Road, Liverpool

The chassis number is 98213.

The SD42/7 had the 7ft 6in wide chassis and this one had the HOE7/5 8.6 litre diesel engine with 4 speed synchromesh gearbox.
