This SD42/7, first registered in 1949, has a half cab body by coachbuilders Whitson and was one of two supplied to Nash, "Brown's Bus Service", of Ventnor, Isle of Wight. The other was registered GDL 32.

In 1956 Nash was taken over by Southern Vectis and they kept the bus in their fleet until 1960. It was then sold to Walthamstow Round Table who used it as transport for disabled people until 1969. It was then purchased for preservation but nothing was done until it was sold again in 1983 to Simon Emerton. Restoration started in 1985 and in 2009 it passed its MoT test and is now on the road.

The chassis number is 98011. The SD42/7 had the 7ft 6in wide chassis and the HOE7/4 8.6 litre diesel engine.
