1948 SD42/1 Single Deck bus

This is probably the only fully restored and roadworthy example of the large order of buses supplied to the Dutch government. It is one of the long wheelbase 42/1 type with 46 seat body by De Schelde. It entered service in July 1948.

The chassis number is 96392. These buses were fitted with the HOE9 supercharged 140bhp 8.6-litre diesel.
