The 2013 Crossley Register UK rally, organised by Martin and Penny Sims, was based in the Hollies Hotel, Bower Hinton, Somerset and featured the Dorset heritage coast. We were favoured by good even hot weather for our annual weekend away and managed to avoid any confusion with the nearby Glastonbury Music Festival which was on the same weekend.

On Saturday we had our traditional navigation challenge that took us through some attractive villages with rather narrow streets and up and down the local hills. Martin arranged a talk for us on the local fossils before we had our lunch break in Bridport. The annual dinner and prize giving took place in the evening.

On Sunday, we navigated to Somerton for a walking treasure hunt with some additional questions on the way before arriving for lunch at the Three Horeshoes Inn at Batcombe.
