This is a 1922 19.6 tourer with Crossley coachwork. The chassis number is 16270 and the engine number is 16260.

The car has been owned by the same family for over 50 years. It was supplied new to Mr Holton Davies, a solicitor in Pwhelli who ordered the car at the 1921 London Motor Show and the car was delivered in 1922 by dealers T. Norton Ltd of Llandrindrod Wells. The car was returned to the Crossley factory in the 1930s to have trafficator type direction indicators and a windscreen wiper fitted. Mr Davies kept the car until 1947 when a beaded edge tyre burst and a replacement could not be found. It was bought by Mr Wright who owned a wine shop in Abersoch and he had new wheels made up so that tyres could be obtained. It was later sold to a farmer who ran it for a short time before selling it to some scrap dealers. The father of the present owner knew of the car and was able to buy it in 1958 before it was completely dismantled - one door and the windscreen were never found. The car was resprayed and tidied up but was not subject to a restoration. After lying dormant for some time the car has now been fully restored.
