1951 Dominion TDD64/1 3 axle Trolley Bus

This is the only surviving example of the Dominion 3 axle Trolley Bus and is normally kept in the Manchester Museum of Transport. It is here seen on a rare outing in nearby Heaton Park in 1991. There are no overhead wires for it so presumably it had been towed to the location.

This was one of 16 bought by Manchester and was withdrawn in 1963 as the trolley bus system was run down.

It has chassis number 94512.
