This 1926 model 18/50 Crossley type 1L Canberra Landaulette is in the National Museum of Australia in Canberra. The vehicle is significant as it was used in the opening of the Australian Parliament House and was one of a fleet of six used by the then Duke and Duchess of York for that occasion.
The car is being restored to full working order but was found on inspection to have a cracked engine block.
The chassis number is 40425 and engine number 40250.
